Since I first saw an Emma Kunz drawing I became instantly captivated. They are soooo my type. Gradients of colours and lines creating spirograph-like shapes, all of them dancing on top of “vintage” grid paper... Gorgeous.
But Kunz’s art went beyond all this. She was a healer, and these new-wave-geometric-mandalas were one of her tools to help people.
There is a monograph book about her in which I’ll invest sooner or later. You can buy it here.

Oh...this geology panorama is one of the most beautiful illustrations I’ve seen recently. The colours are amazing, the composition is gorgeous too...

First internet wasn't working properly, then my iMac went totally crazy with the Wacom tablet all shaky, Stuffit Expander not expanding and so on... guess we all need vacations at home ;)

Kaleidoscope is a free contemporary art magazine of great quality distributed all across Europe.
This magazine is one of the parts of a multi-layered project by an italian publishing house with the same name.
I got the first printed issue in Berlin but you can find it in a lot of places/cities (has 400 points of distribution) or you can visit their website and download it.
Art is great when reaches as much people as possible :)

My boyfriend and I were totally hypnotized yesterday looking at Jarvis Cocker building his own name with volumetric letters.
Simple and addictive! On that same page you can listen to"Angela" his new single, really bowiesque in my opinion...
